Thermomass has published its latest continuing education course, titled Energy Efficient Envelope Design Using Integrally Insulated Concrete Tilt-Up Panels. Hosted by AEC Daily, the free course focuses on the construction, benefits, sustainability, and specific market advantages for buildings constructed using integrally-insulated tilt-up panels.
Producing continuing education courses has been a long-standing practice at Thermomass, a company that prides itself in industry leadership. In fact, Thermomass courses have been viewed nearly 2,500 times since the first was published on AEC Daily in 2008.
“These courses are a great resource for the design community,” said Thermomass President, Brad Nesset. “They provide a vital service for those needing continuing education credits. But more so, they help us provide an overview of insulated concrete, a topic that some design professionals may not be as familiar with as more traditional methods like timber-frame and masonry.”
The new material takes a closer look at tilt-up construction specifically, and how it can be applied to today’s challenges involved in building durable, energy-efficient structures.
“Tilt-up construction has always been a great solution,” said Thermomass North American Sales Director, Mitch McCaulley. “Recently, though, we have seen increased growth throughout the industry which is in turn fostering additional interest in insulated tilt across the United States, Canada, and abroad.”
