Insulated Cast-in-Place Construction

Insulated cast-in-place construction offers fire resistance, low maintenance costs and protection against above and below grade pest infestation.

Insulated cast-in-place construction can be used in almost any type of building project. When paired with Thermomass insulation, modern cast-in-place (CIP) building techniques produce highly energy-efficient, load-bearing, insulated concrete walls. Our patented fiber-composite connectors and rigid insulation virtually eliminate the thermal bridges often found in other poured wall and vertical-cast methods.

In addition, Thermomass insulation can be placed into almost any forming system. Our products can be used with or without form liners or brick forms. Local concrete contractors across the country have successfully implemented Thermomass insulation into foundations and poured-wall projects. larger projects, including museums and churches, have also benefited from integral insulation from Thermomass.

Our state-of-the-art technology reduces on-site construction time, because the monolithic pour process produces a one-step finished wall. Because many owners desire a natural concrete finish on both interior and exterior walls, insulated CIP construction allows the exterior cladding, insulation, vapor barrier, structure, and interior wall finishes to be completed in a single casting.

Other benefits of insulated CIP construction include fire resistance, low maintenance costs and protection against above- and below-grade pest infestation.
