Dedicated on March 7, 2017, the recent Stanislaus County Public Safety Center expansion was a 4-phase project undertaken to increase the county jail’s housing capacity and provide better resources for mental health and medical care. Thermomass-insulated concrete panels were part of an overall design plan that emphasized a state-of-the-art approach to basic detention, as well as enhanced security and safety, and an increased focus on rehabilitation.
