| Premium Beers distributes Anheuser-Busch
beers in Central and South-Central Oklahoma.
For Premium Beers's new distribution center in
Oklahoma City, the project design team wanted to create an aesthetically
pleasing facility on the outside while still meeting the owner’s
request for a state-of-the-art controlled atmosphere beer storage
interior to save energy costs. The THERMOMASS Building Insulation
System helped them achieve their goals. THERMOMASS keeps the interior
of the building stable, takes temperature fluctuation out of the
picture, and reduces maintenance costs.
The versatility of tilt construction with THERMOMASS
can be readily seen in the exterior's brick veneered finish. Combined
with a copper canopy, brick pilasters and a stone base, this new
distribution center borrows its distinctive style from the famous
Anheuser-Busch brew house in St. Louis.
In all, this stunning facility covers nearly 230,000
square feet, including 110,000 sq. ft. of cold storage and 60,000
sq. ft. of office space.
