Architect

Composite Technologies Corporation, the industry leader in insulation systems for tilt-up and pre-cast concrete sandwich wall construction, has a career opportunity for an ambitious and motivated individual. 

Responsibilities:
A successful candidate will evaluate, investigate, and design solutions for building envelope and insulated walls systems. Work involves primarily concrete structures however a working knowledge of contemporary wood and steel would be helpful. Responsibilities include • Reading and reviewing construction documents and notating areas of concern • Researching technical and code issues • Analyzing thermal data and developing solutions • Preparing and revising project specifications.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or Architectural Engineering, combined with 0-10 years of related experience • Excellent oral and written technical and general communication skills • Some travel • Proficiency in computer-aided drafting software is desired • Interest in system integration and problem solving, rather than in building design.
