Business owners know that time is money. The faster your building is operational, the sooner your bottom line improves. THERMOMASS understands this.

Insulated concrete sandwich wall facilities are among the fastest to construct. Tilt-up and precast concrete buildings have been built in as little as half the time of standard block-and-brick structures.

Since the insulation is integral to the wall system, extra insulating workers are not required. The walls are placed quickly meaning other trades can get to work sooner.

Here is an example of efficient construction using the THERMOMASS Building Insulation System.

Realizing the benefits of insulated concrete construction, SiteCast Construction built this 52,000 SF school in Ontario in only 25 weeks!


March
		Construction started on March 1st, 1999. Foundations, foundation insulation, weeping tile and underground electrical and plumbing services were all installed in March.

April
		Floor slab cast to a "super flat" finish. Fabrication of tilt-up panels commenced. Site services proceeded with installation of water main.

May
		Panel fabrication continued. Panel lift started, and the next day structural steel installation commenced. Within 2 weeks the building structure was erected, with structural steel right behind. Mechanical and electrical trades commenced work.

June
		Completion of steel roof deck allowed roofing to commence. Sealing of the building proceeded with the installation of window frames and glazing. Electrical, mechanical, ductwork and sprinkler trades made rapid progress.

July
		Electrical and mechanical rough-ins were completed. Work started on the Interior finishings.

August
		Completion of interior finishes. Occupancy by Board took place on August 16th. Students and teachers were welcomed into their new facility on the first day of school, August 30th, 1999.
